Eight Plus Four = Twelve Types of Wealth.

Eight Types of Wealth By Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankar.
———————————————————————–
One of the greatest illusions created in the world is wealth. There is so much disparity in the world. There is no logical reasoning or explanation as to why someone is born in Africa and suffers for a piece of bread, while there is surplus bread elsewhere and is often wasted. Wealth is something that is bestowed on you. There are eight types of wealth.

1.Wealth as material comfort: The material wealth is what is commonly known as wealth. Just by being born in a wealthy home, some people acquire wealth without effort. Others have to toll all their life to make money.
2.Wealth as health: Some people may have a lot of money buty cannot eat well. Some people do not have money, buty they have enough to eat and they are healthy. Farmers in India don’t have any money but they have plenty of food with them. Anyone who goes to them is fed: they can feed the whole town. They can sleep well.
3.Wealth as success(Vijaya Lakshmi): Some may be born into a very wealthy family, but they face failure in whatever they do. They are never successful.
4.Wealth as courage: One must see life as an adventurous game. Whether you win or loose. But if one is afraid of making mistakes, one lacks the wealth of courage and there is no fun in life even if the person has a lot of money.
5.Wealth as friendliness: The fifth type of wealth is friendliness, having a caring attitute, having a sense of belonging, One may have the other types of wealth, but will still feel as though in a tight compartment, without a sense of belonging.
6.Wealth as Skill: Another wealth is having different skills and talents. People are talented in different things. They put their maximum efforts to to achieve what they want yet they fail to achieve their goal. Effort is not enough, but skill is required to achieve one’s goal.
7.Wealth as dignity:Be as humble as the grass. Than nothing can touch you or humiliate you. In the eyes of the Divine, it is those who serve creation, are true kings and queens. Walk like a king and be a perfect servant.
8.Wealth as memory of the source:We only know that we were born. Somewhere from three or four years of our age onwards, we start understanding things around us. Our memory is very short, it appears this our only life. We are not aware of our source. The moment we become aware of your source, and our infinite past, our whole life life changes. This is the awareness of the source.

Please note the above eight types mentioned above are guruji’s views and I have added Four more from my side which i thought might help.

9.Wealth by having a Mentor: I think everyone should have a mentor, where people just out of college do lots of things, where their won’t be a direction and end up in the wrong job/business. By having a mentor, i think everything will change, and I have seen the difference between people having a mentor and people who have none. Just finding a mentor is a huge task and once you find one and person should agree to help you out. Well if we have a mentor itself is a big wealth.
10.Wealth of Knowledge: I think that knowledge is such a important paramenter in one’s life, it shows from the day one when our parents put us in school. If we are lucky to have a good school, college, university is itself a very big wealth, where the primary knowledge is imparted and as we move forward we should keep acquring more knowledge about our job/business/profession.
11.Wealth of being a citizen of Country: I think that being born in India itself is a big thing and we could consider we are wealthy. India is free country, you could do any job/business/profession and the opportunities are unlimited and we live in a democracy. Being a citizen of a democracy is itself is a big wealth. It is the same for UK,US,Australia, European Union, Singapore,Japan. Just compare with few countries in Africa, we will immediately know how lucky we are. We all have a man-made constitution and the law goes by the constitution.
12.Wealth of having a fighting Spirit: I think we all should keep fighting for our right. Right to Live and fight for the same. In the course of everyone’s life there are instances where people whom we think a friend might put you down/cheat. This is only an expample i have given, it is just that the govenment of a particular country could go back on its own words. It is very imparative that we fight to keep our promises we make, fight to keep a word given to somebody, fight not to cheat anybody, fight to make a life, where the money earned is in the right way.
